MASONIC  BOOK  CLUB  SURVEY

 Lodge 700 expects to begin a Masonic book club in February of 2010. The club's purpose is to provide a forum for Brothers to discuss a selected book about Freemasonry. 1. We currently plan to meet 5 times in 2010 at the Lodge - once in February, April, June, September, and November. How do you feel about that?  

2. How would you feel about meeting the 4th Tuesday of the above months?  

3. The club will have a rotating moderator who will loosely bring the club to order and get the ball rolling, be free to join in the discussion, and make sure everyone who wants to contribute has the opportunity. Otherwise, the moderator will have no greater responsibility than any other Brother. Would you be interested in serving as one of the moderators? If so, do you have a preferred month?  

4. We naturally want to focus on books that offer serious treatments of Freemasonry either in terms of history, or philosophy, or values, or ritual, and so on. Can you suggest books that your think we should discuss?
